grouping severs based on registry value
I am new to Operations Manager 2007. I have a requirement where i have to create a grouping of servers based on a registry key value. The servers to be targeted have reqestry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\world\Data
This key contains a value dDataServer of type dword. If its the value is 0000001 then the server should be added to the group. I created a attribute in Opr Manager 2007 which probes the registry for the value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\world\Data\dDataserver. I chose the Attribute type to be int.
I then created a group which uses the custom attribute. However when i view the devices in this group i dont see any computer. Can any one help me with this?
